Dr Neil E Strickman was a guest of the Chinese Medical Society in Shanghai and Beijing. First, he presented a lecture to the neuro surgeons at Rui Jin Hospital in Shanghai. Then he flew to Beijing to
partake as a lecturer and moderator during the live case presentations of TCT at CIT in Beijing.
Time for Sights and Sounds of the Far East.
During January 2005 Dr. Neil E. Strickman was invited by the National Heart Center of Singapore to present an update on Carotid Stenting trials performed in the USA.
He also performed a live teaching cases with Dr. Tan Bien Soo and associates at the National Heart Center in Singapore.
From there he flew to Penang Malaysia to organize 2 day teaching conference on Peripheral Vascular Intervention with the local cardiologists and nurses.
Dr. Strickman was enthusiastic about the usage of new technology in carotid intervention.
Much intellectual exchange was accoplished to further the understanding of the best medical care available. At the end of the day Dr. Strickman received the national teaching award. .
