Robert J. Hall, M.D. Dr. Hall specializes in Clinical and Diagnostic Cardiology. He is Board Certified
in Internal Medicine and in Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology and the Council of Clinical
Cardiology of the American Heart Association. Dr. Hall is the founding Medical Director of the Texas Heart Institute and former Chief of Cardiology at St. Luke's
Episcopal Hospital, Houston, Texas. He is currently Director of Cardiology Education at both Institutions. He holds appointments as Clinical Professor of
Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Dr. Hall is the Director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program at St. Luke's
Episcopal Hospital. Although Dr. Hall has retired, his patient care, thoughtfullness and teachings will go on indefinitely

Neil E. Strickman, M.D. Dr. Strickman is an interventional cardiologist at the Texas Heart Institute with
specialization in balloon angioplasty and stents, peripheral vascular diseases, Carotid Artery stenting and non-surgical (Endovascular) treatment of Abdominal
Aortic Aneurysm. He is a former co-director of the non-invasive department of the St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital (1982-1985). He is a full time
Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine in the heart of the Texas Medical Center. Daily he treats patients without surgery with fewer
complications than might occur with open surgical procedures. He is the regions only authorized physician investigator of Carotid artery neck blockages for the landmark Sapphire
trial comparing surgery to stenting for patients at extremely high risk.
Raymond F. Stainback, M.D. Dr. Stainback received his education at Vanderbilt University, Baylor College
of Medicine and the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Stainback is recognized as an expert in noninvasive cardiology. He serves as Medical Director of Noninvasive Cardiology and Medical
Director of the Adult Echocardiography Laboratories at the world-renowned St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, home of the Texas Heart Institute©.
James Michael Wilson, M. D. Dr. Wilson is a general cardiologist with special expertise in coronary and
peripheral vascular interventions. He completed training in Cardiovascular Disease at the Texas Heart Institute where he performed research exploring
the origin of unstable coronary syndromes, the use of antithrombotic therapy during coronary intervention, appropriate methods of revascularization, and the
treatment of coronary stent restenosis. He currently holds an appointment as Clinical Instructor at the Baylor College of Medicine. In addition to coronary
atherosclerosis, his interests include the use of pulmonary artery input impedance in the evaluation of pulmonary hypertension and the evaluation of ventricular function in the setting
of mitral regurgitation.
Abdi Rasekh, M.D.
Abdi Rasekh is an interventional cardiologist and electrophysiologist. He
received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Paris XIII where his thesis won the Bronze Medical Award for Clinical Research. He completed
his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Graduate Hospital of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in
cardiovascular diseases at Baylor College of Medicine and served as the chief interventional cardiology fellow at the Texas Heart Institute. He completed a
clinical electrophysiology fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute in 1999.
Dr.Rasekh's interest include sudden cardiac death, atrial fibrillation, ablation of arrhythmias,
device therapy for congestive heart failure and management of coronary artery disease. He has been the author and co-author of several articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
Dr. Rasekh is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine , Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology and Clinical
Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of Heart Rhythm Society. Joseph P. Navarijo, M.D.
Dr. Navarijo received his medical education through the University of Texas
Health Science Center and cardiology training through the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr Navarijo's expertise is in the field of noninvasive cardiology. He
serves as Clinical Instructor for Baylor College of Medicine and directs the adult echocardiography laboratory at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. He also serves as
Director of Nuclear cardiology for Hall-Garcia Cariology associates. His clinical interests include management of cardiac issues in pregnancy and noninvasive assessment of cardiac disease and its risk. |
